The Olivers In Thailand

The coup has been a success - well for our stomachs anyway.

The outcome of the emergency meeting was successfully followed through by both Thomas, who helped produce wonderful cinnamon buns, and David, not wanting to be out-done by the opposition, baked a great "Heather Thatcher" chocolate cake.

The recipe, for Bronwen, is:

• 10.5 oz flour
• 3 tbsp cocoa
• 1.5 teaspoons bicarb of soda
• 7.5 oz caster sugar
• 3 tbsp syrup
• 3 eggs
• 7 oz milk
• 7 oz oil

Bake 150'C for 25-35 mins.

Meanwhile, while waiting for the lengthy baking process (25-35 minutes - see above), Matt Coe and I went to find some tanks - we found these

These images we found on google, as we were unable to find any tanks in our brief search on Chiang Mai. We did however see a few solders, suffering under the afternoons downpour.

Rest assured that the chocolate cake and cinnamon buns are well protected and hidden in a secret location.

Anyway, enough of excitement for one day...tomorrow we will need to review our alert status
