Around the same time as David's birthday, our Thai neighbours blessed us with a plate of traditional Thai desserts.
As part of David's party celebrations, a blind tasting context was quickly arranged by Jessica and Rosie who is staying with us...they needed to check what was about to be given to the victims...sorry, contestant...
So David's friends were suitably blind folded and various items of food were placed before him, ranging from sugar, lime juice (cannot get lemons), Marmite, etc
Finally, birthday boy was given one final challenge - Thai desserts.
To our Western pallets, the tastes can be a little different. But then, they think some of our food is really strange, especially when we neglect to add sugar to bread, or gravy...
But I really liked some of the Thai desserts, especially the custardy one!
