The Olivers In Thailand

On Fri 2nd and Sat 3rd Jan, the Oliver family and Niti went to Hoay Maw for our Christmas visit.

We took some food, fruit, fizzy drinks and treats for a special meal.

We were able to borrow a projector and showed the Thai version of “The Nativity” for a “family film night”. The children thoroughly enjoyed it.

On Saturday morning, we did a craft activity together with the children which they are always enthusiastic about. After that we played games including Pass-the-Parcel, musical statues and Tom's Tombola with prizes for all.

We gave out the “Blessings in a Bag” which included treats, small gifts, hygiene and school supplies.

We didn't want to perform to the children, but rather to spend quality time with them. We are finding it a real blessing as we get to know the children more personally.

Altogether

We shared with the children about how God knows and cares about the difficult situations that we face and He is with us and able to help us through. We sensed that the Holy Spirit was at work as we prayed for the children.
