coffins

250g plain flour
2g baking soda
3g salt
170g butter
220g brown sugar
100g white sugar
15ml vanilla extract
2 eggs
335g dark chocolate chips
2 1/2 heaped dessert spoons cocoa powder

heat oven to 165 degrees
cream together butter and sugars
add vanilla and eggs
mix in flour, salt, baking soda and cocoa
stir in chocolate chips
put into muffin tray and cook for 15 minutes
when out leave in tray for at least 15 minutes

(David invented this recipe all on his own!)

Ginger-ade

How To Make Ginger-ade.

4 cups of ginger water.
8 table spoonsof lime juice.
1 cup of honey.
4 cups of water.

serve with ice.
makes 9 servings.

Heather Thatcher's Chocolate Cake

  • 10.5 oz flour
  • 3 tbsp cocoa
  • 1.5 teaspoons bicarb of soda
  • 7.5 oz caster sugar
  • 3 tbsp syrup
  • 3 eggs
  • 7 oz milk
  • 7 oz oil

Bake 150'C for 25-35 mins.

Cinnamon Rolls

Cinnamon rolls:

  • 2 Tbsb. instant yeast
  • 2.5 cup warm milk
  • 0.25 Cup sugar
  • 0.5 cup oil
  • 1 Tbsp. salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 7 cup Flour

Blend flour, sugar, yeast + salt. Add milk + oil, then eggs.

Beat + and kneed until soft dough. Let rise.

Spread with butter, brown sugar, white sugar and cinnamon.

Roll up and cut in about 1 inch slices. Let rise for half an hour and bake for 20 min. @ 375ยบ F

Frost with powdered sugar frosting if desired
pwd sugar (icing sugar)
