Today was a rest day for some of us, but two of our group, Claire and Sally, went the extra mile and rode up Mont Ventoux.
They set off early and got slightly lost putting in even more more miles!
They did valiantly and we are so proud of their epic achievement.
The rest of us drove up in the car and met them at the summit.
We took celebratory photos.
The views were incredible.
We stopped at a cafe on the way down for filled baguettes for lunch.
In the afternoon I took my bike to a bike shop in Sault where a lady made a slight adjustment which enabled me to change into the big chain ring more smoothly and eliminated a slight rumbling noise.
I spent a couple of hours wrestling with the blog website which had locked up so apologies for the delay in publishing.
I then cooked a pasta supper and now we are planning for tomorrow’s riding.
